Full Reports of 100 Hours of Astronomy in Syria

Between 1 and 5 April 2009 various activities were held on the land of Syria in order to increase the public awareness about astronomy. We tried to be in public places and to reach the largest possible number of people in our country. We could make 1,675 persons have their first look through the telescope during these five days, and more than 500 pupils attended one of the shows in our portable planetarium. Full coverage of our seven main activities can be found by clicking on the links that follow. You can also see our brief photo gallery of 100 Hours of Astronomy on the international website of this activity by clicking HERE.
